Seizure Recognition Training in Brainerd

  • Essentia Health - St. Joseph's Medical Campus (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Located on the lower level in the Thabes conference room, through the cafeteria. Please, ask front desk attendant for help if you are not sure how to find us.

We chose to meet here for many reasons but one worth sharing first is the history of the Thabes family in the Brainerd Area; both Dr. Thabes and his wife believed that citizens should serve their communities and states. They did not let the busy life of a doctor and a doctor’s wife keep them from participating fully in worthwhile activities. Dr. Thabes was known as a leader of his profession having served as a president and secretary of the Upper Mississippi Medical society and having been a member of the American College of Surgeons and American Medical association. Mrs. Thabes started her career as a teacher in the public schools in Brainerd. After she married Dr. Thabes she interested herself in the public health problems as well as carrying on her interest in the schools of the city. Let’s remember the good works begun by the Thabes family and continue the noble mission of service and unselfish devotion to the interest of the community as a whole.

If you have any questions or you would like to learn more, please Contact Us.

We are glad you are here as we seek additional opportunities to make an impact in the Brainerd Lakes Area, please share any thoughts - your input is valuable!

Library Meetup in Crosby

Once a month, we meet up at the Crosby library, to introduce different ways in which interested volunteers can get involved.

During our meetings, we share community resources and we share stories of our own personal journeys. The engagement we are building to raise awareness for seizure disorders will also promote education and advocacy.

We chose this meeting space because of their mission to foster positive social interactions and connectivity. Check out the website; hallettlibrary.org to explore.

If you have any questions or you would like to learn more, please Contact Us.

We are glad you are here as we look for additional opportunities to make an impact in the Brainerd Lakes Area, please share any thoughts - your input is valuable!

Kind regards,
Barb, David, & Jenifer
